DofE Award Outdoor Activity based Gold residential

Developing in a sport or a variety of sports is a great way to spend a week.  Whether you are already competent mountain biker or a wanna-be outdoor all-rounder, our list of activity based gold residential weeks will be of interest.  You will spend the week with a group of others, making new friends and learning new skills in a residential environment.

Wild Adventure

  • These camps are available to a range of age groups, even if you are not participating in the DofE Award Scheme
  • There must be at least 5 participants on a DofE residential

If you are using public transport, please inform the centre of your travel times on booking so we can arrange to pick you up.

About Abernethy

Abernethy operates 4 Christian adventure activity centres and a bunkhouse in Scotland along with a Swiss winter ski base.  The Abernethy staff team are all Christians and are here to provide a comfortable, welcoming and memorable experience to all who visit.  We are a charitable trust - with Christian values at the core of our service.  Our dependence is on God and prayer underpins everything we do.  DofE residential participants should be sympathetic to our Christian ethos.  As part of their evening programme, residential participants attend an Explore presentation by the Abernethy Team.  Abernethy operates a no smoking, no alcohol policy.
