About the Holiday

Join us for a Hogmanay to remember at our legendary Nethybridge New Year Houseparty!

This winter break is as action-packed or laid back as you like; join in with the activity, or just relax by our open fires.  Here are just some of the things on offer:

Weather permitting, you could enjoy some early season skiing during the Houseparty.  Our location between Cairngorm Mountain and the Lecht Ski Area is ideal for offering you the best of skiing in Scotland, and our team of qualified instructors will give you fantastic and friendly tuition.

About the Speaker

Hamish Sneddon grew up in Perthshire, and after graduating from Durham University was a ministry trainee at Christchurch Durham.  After teaching for a couple of years he spent five years working in Durham for UCCF, and then moved to St Andrews with the family in 2014.  Alongside serving as the Associate Pastor at St Andrews Free Church, with particular responsibility for the student ministry, Hamish studies part-time at Edinburgh Theological Seminary.  He's married to Marije, and they have three children.  Along with spending time with them, Hamish enjoys reading, music and sports, including the annual vocation of supporting Scotland Rugby.


What is included in the price?

  • 4 nights full board accommodation, including evening meal on arrival and packed lunch on departure day
  • Ceilidh on New Year's Eve
  • Celebration New Year buffet
  • Activities are available but charged at our standard rate of £33 for a full day (not including lift pass)

What will I need to bring?

  • Towels and swim kit
  • Snowsports clothing if you are planning to ski / snowboard
  • Warm clothes and party clothes - do bring a kilt if you have one!
  • Bible and notebook

Why not add a relaxed extra day and night with us after your Abernethy Houseparty?  Stay one extra night on the Tuesday (until Wednesday 03 January) for just £38 –  a great way to chill out after the festivities! 

Extra chargeable activities are available on Tuesday 02 January: please ask for more information when booking.
