What we offer
We offer courses for anyone who wants to hone their skills in some adventure activities. Whether you are a complete beginner or just want a place to practice and some guidance on improving technique, you are welcome to join in the courses advertised below.
Each course is booked in a block of a set number of weeks. See each one below for more details, and keep an eye out for more being added in the future.
Barcaple Climbing Club
BCC is a great space for kids from P5 up to learn and practice at our great indoor climbing wall. With a bouldering section, 16 roped lines and friendly qualified instructors, it is a great opportunity to learn, meet new people and have tons of fun.

Nethy Ski Lessons
Abernethy Evening ski lessons are back! Come and learn to ski on our floodlit artificial ski slope before the winter season starts…
DATES: A block of 4 Mondays: 4th, 11th, 18th & 25th November
TIME: 4 – 6pm
The first session will start at 3:30pm to factor in time for ski fitting at the start.
Who can come?
Beginners of a minimum age of 8 years old.
Price:
Our sessions are £30 each. We require you to book and pay for the whole block upon your initial booking.
What’s included?
- Ski equipment hire
- Use of artificial slope
- Instruction
- Hot chocolate
Please note:
- Sessions are aimed at beginners
- All skiers will be in instructed groups, with tuition from Abernethy Instructors.
- Places are limited to 16 and will be on a first come first serve basis.
- We require a parent or carer to be on site at all times throughout the session in case of an emergency.
To provisionally book on, please follow the booking process by clicking the button below. Your booking isn’t confirmed until you receive an email from our admin team. This is so we can manage the numbers for the different ski groups and ski equipment required.
