What we offer
We offer courses for anyone who wants to develop their skills or gain nationally recognised qualifications in adventure activities. Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to become a qualified outdoor instructor, we have a variety of courses that we run.
Some courses run full time over a long period, and some are over weekends or weekly over a block of moths. See below for the details of each course, and keep an eye out for more being added in the future.
Trainee Instructor Course
The Trainee Instructor course is designed to kickstart your career as an outdoor instructor. It is a 10 month residential course in which you will work towards a wide range of outdoor qualifications while living in a Christian community in the Cairngorms. Barcaple Climbing Club
BCC is a great space for kids from P5 up to learn and practice at our great indoor climbing wall. With a bouldering section, 16 roped lines and friendly qualified instructors, it is a great opportunity to learn, meet new people and have tons of fun.
DATES: 11 Monday nights during term time from 13th January – 24th March
TIMES: Years P5-P7 3:45-5:15
Years S1-S6 5:15-6:45
Climbers of all abilities are welcome.
£88 for a block of 11 sessions, to be paid in advance.
