This is a long weekend, much of it spent out and about in the stunning hills, coastline and woodland around Kilmalieu. Autumn is an incredible time here.
This gathering is an opportunity for people involved in, or interested in, exploring and practicing Christian faith in and through nature and the great outdoors.
This will be a ‘learning community’, a chance to be with people with similar visions and hopes. There will be times to share ideas and experiences and learn from one another. We will pray and worship, usually outdoors.
We are grateful to Rural Ministries for financial support for this retreat and the prices above reflect this. If you are willing to share a room, this will enable us to make this generous offer available to more people, but there is no pressure to do so.
This retreat is fully catered, starting with dinner after arrival on Friday and ending with breakfast before you leave on Monday. Food at Kilmalieu is home-made and consistently praised for its quality.
Accommodation is in the renovated eighteenth-century hunting lodge with a mixture of comfortable single, twin and family bedrooms. Some rooms have en-suite facilities, while others have shared toilet and shower facilities available. Maximum capacity is 18.
Our time together will be facilitated by a small team led by Dr Steve Aisthorpe, Centre Director of Kilmalieu. Steve is an experienced retreat leader, an accredited coach and author of various books, including Rewilding the Church and Knowing You, Jesus.
